Green Tea is rich in Beta-carotene. Vitamin B complex, C, E and other vitamins, caffeine, tannin, amino acids, manganese, fluorine and other trace minerals. Being termed as a non-fermented Tea, the freshly plucked tea leaves are immediately bleached and cured in the non-fermentation process to prevent from oxidation and to preserve a high content of its natural bioactive substances. This substance includes Polyphenols, a phyto chemical substance that is most immediately upon any fermentation process. Its most important polyphenols - catechin which is always refered to as EGCG - is proven to be a very powerful anti-oxidant that helps get rid of free radicals which reduces the risk of contracting various adult sicknesses and functional ageing.
